This fur hat is the trapper and Buck Skinners hat. Our authentic Mountain Man Hats are made from quality tanned furs. It is a full-length fur with all four legs, paws and tail. We will make this hat with or with out the headpiece.
At Peter Paul Fur we take pride in the way we reconstruct the heads of our Mountain Man Hats. We reshape the heads, ears and replace the eyes with replica glass eyes. Depending on the type of fur used, determines the length of the cape.
